Arcadia cares: food for kidz

8:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

The entire community, ages three on up, is invited to participate in assembly-line packing of meals for hungry children and their families locally, on the Navajo Reservation and internationally. The meals are individually packed, highly nutritious and filling.


Each meal costs only 15 cents to pack! (Donate here)


To bring our 5 year total to 500,000 meals (volunteer here), our goal this year is to pack 143, 166. Which means we must raise $18, 000. (Sponsorship information here


The PackaThon is hosted by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church which is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization so all donations are tax deductible.

Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Prince of Peace.  We are thrilled to announce that we packed over 74,000 meals over the course of the day!  Together we made a huge difference in the lives of those who struggle with hunger every day.
