Here at Prince of Peace, service comes in many different forms, join in sharing the love of Christ by serving our neighbors near and far!Service opportunities range from helping replenish the POP Food Pantry, to feeding the homeless, to donating items to local non-profits and churches in need, and even as simple as linking your grocery store card for Grocery Store Rebates, where a percentage of your purchase goes to POP to help us continue these projects!

  • PArtnering In Service

    Each year, Prince of Peace selects a different partner organization to highlight each month. Through education, service and building relationships, we seek to unite with the amazing work being done by other organizations to seek justice, help those in need and advocate for the voiceless. 

  • Help Those EXperiencing HOmelessness

    Sundays September 8th and October 27th

    6:30am-9am at Grace Lutheran Church

    Sign-up HERE to help provide a meal to those experiencing homelessness in our community. 

  • Feed My Starving Children

    Feed My Starving Children is a Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children, hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and they ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.   • Arcadia Cares: Food for Kidz

    The entire Arcadia community helps pack meals for distribution to hungry
    children and their families locally and internationally annually. The Food for Kidz model provides individually packed, highly nutritious, filling meals whose ingredients cost is fifteen cents per meal. “This is what Prince of Peace is all about; bringing the community together in a spirit of joy and cooperation to serve others!”  Pastor Rick Sherrill.   • Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest

    LSS-SW has ministered to the urgent needs of people in communities throughout Arizona since 1970. Partnering with local churches, current projects include refugee resettlement, aging and disability services, behavioral health services, disaster services and support of several local food banks. One of the most successful projects coordinated by LSS-SW is the IHELP rotating shelter program for homeless women.
